Tried some rendering using only the side of a pencil. Had some interesting results:
A large part of making this was fighting my natural instinct to use darker tones to make lines, and I didn’t always stop myself in time, like on the ear and the horn. I might have been a bit more consistent with my lighting, but that’s always been a weak spot for me.
