All I knew was I wanted to draw a long, curving shape:

Maybe three-quarters of the way through I got through congratulating myself that I hadn’t drawn something like this in a long time, if at all, then I realized/worried that it was too much like Emily Fiegenschuh’s Styx Dragon, but I was vindicated in the end- the Styx is actually serpentine throughout, with a much longer neck as opposed to the bulky torso and practically no-necked form of tonight’s dragon.
