Getting back to my roots.

In keeping with the last post, let’s see if I can do a dragon-a-day until I’m dragoned out.

Don’t worry, Cthulhu’s still on my mind, and the squintillion other things I have to do are getting worked on; but this is more for discipline than anything else.

This here’s a dragon of the middle of the sea, or a pelagic dragon. it probably lairs close to shore, in a sea cliff or under an atoll or something like that, unlike a benthic dragon, this creature is a fast swimmer, relying on its large eyes and maybe some sort of echolocation.

I’ve been reading Steve Alten’s Meg series lately, and it’s got me thinking about ocean predators.
