Dragon-A-Day Online: Day 730: Tellin’ It Like It Is.

So I had an interview at a temp agency today. Before the interview itself, I had to fill out an application. Towards the middle of the application, there was a section that read

“Use the box below to write or draw anything that you feel will tell us more about you and what is important to you (Optional).”

So I did this:

“I am a creative person, and in a perfect world would be doing something creative at someplace cool, like in publishing, TV or toys. I understand and accept that these are NOT the kinds of positions you place.

From talking with your reps, it seems that the kinds of positions you DO put people in would make nice placeholders until I figure out how I can start Drawing For Money again.

Lacking that, I’m also quite qualified to do admin things at companies like Viacom, Scholastic, Random House, et al. “

My first thought was to draw my dragon, but that felt too personal for a job application. I’ll grant you, the similarities are there, but I didn’t feel like giving them that much of who I was, I guess.

But I’ve known you since I was 12, Internet, so here:
