I may have drawn the head a little bigger than I should, but on the whole, I’m satisfied with this full-body rendering I did of last night’s dragon:
And probably because of the surly look that the oversized tusks give it, but I found myself having some running inner dialogue about their habits- basically, they are like the elephant seals from Happy Feet 2: big, territorial and more than a little belligerent about matters of personal status- among each other as well as those that they consider beneath them.(and yes, “Rawhide” was running through my head part of the time)
I also had some random, slightly disjointed thoughts about where they might live, but I didn’t completely decide. I’m not sure where the loose skin on the lower limbs came from, but it seemed like a good idea. I’m also kind of stuck on a name, though I don’t want to use [descriptor] [dragon synonym].
