Dragon-A-Day, Day 47

BOO.

I drew this for Meg Lyman, cephalopod illustrator extraordinaire, at Con on the Cob. There were a bunch of artists sitting around, drinking and passing around sketchbooks while throwing topics for images at each other. Meg asked me for a dragon witch, for the season.

I liked the image so much, I asked her to scan it and send it to me, so I could color it. It’s not quite finished, though. I was trying something a little different than what I usually do (as you can see by the lack of lines), and had originally intended to write something about stepping out of my comfort zone, but I got nothin’.

And since started that piece before today, and actually finished it yesterday, here’s a sketch I did today of a Macejaw dragon and a small, anthropomorphic dragon meeting on an unnamed street somewhere on Halloween:

Have fun y’all, and don’t eat the unwrapped candies.
