“It’s late.
I wanted to do something funny or cute, but I haven’t the gumption…”
…so I ended up turning a vaguely fishlike scribble into a Grootslang that (at first, anyway, damn my lack of progress photos) kind of got away from being too dependent on looking like its descendants by adding something that’s neither fish nor fowl, metaphorically speaking. It ended up looking a bit more elephantine as I filled it in- I almost left the nose a lot shorter.
More on this after I’ve had some sleep.
