With the leap I took on Sunday, I felt like I should try and do something different tonight. I tried to get away from the usual catlike forms I tend to draw, and did this:
The major difference (for me, anyhow) was in the head, although it is somewhat reminiscent of the Threadshrike, with its relatively puny limbs and long neck and tail.
Really, I just wanted to draw a dragon floating in the water. I’m not sure if I got the limb arrangement right, and I’ll admit that I didn’t finish drawing the left hind foot when I started drawing the tail, then I forgot about it and had to fake the funk on the rest of the toes.
I don’t know what to call this dragon yet, but I like it. That’s all for now.
