Dragon-A-Day Online: Day 378

Day 2:

I didn’t really expect to see much for the first few days, considering our proximity to civilization, but decided that I ought to get into the habit of writing things down as they happen.

Flimbert continued to deride my bothering to take notes on the Rattaker Drakes, but nevertheless, I persisted, and did my best to remember what I had seen of the drakes at play or whatever it was that they were doing.

I noticed that they mostly walked on their wings, the way that bats do, and that they also used their wings like very long fingers, to wrap around bricks and chimney-pipes while at rest. From what I know of them, they are not very heavily-armored dragons; the spines and ridges along their bodies must be a deterrent to their preferred prey…
