Dragon-A-Day Online: Day 867: Galumphing.

So I was idly considering the shape of the Jabberwock’s head, along with “the jaws that bite.”

It seems that the Jabberwock’s mouth is ill-suited for biting, though I suppose a rabbit or mouse might give a nasty bite, as might a lamprey, and the shape of the jaw has elements of both.
