I’ve been burning a lot of the midnight oil, so I’ll just leave you with this as I toddle off to bed: I feel like I’ve done this before, though I couldn’t tell you when:
The lack of references hurt this sketch- I wanted to capture the interesting squarish shape of the belly scales, but I’m mostly sure I didn’t get it right. Mostly it was the flat head and small, expressionless eyes that were on my mind and prompted me to draw another gator-inspired dragon.
YOoooo. I gotta say, the reptillian gator head lends this a “serious” appearance that some of your other dragons are lacking. This is my favorite “more classic” dragon of yours I think.
The more reptilian visage has been something I’ve been mulling over for awhile actually.
