Dragon-A-Day, Day 94

Ugh. All this late-night networking has got me worn out. But at least my Internet is back, so I can stay up even later and post things from the comfort of my own home:

Thinking about the Blizzard Dragon from yesterday a bit more. I’m really digging the head shape, but I think I need to do a full-body sketch to figure out how the whole thing fits together. The legs might be solid- it’s definitely not going to be “floating shards” like the Earthquake Dragon, nor is there much of a need for it to be skeletal or incomplete, like the Plague Dragon. If anything, it’s frozen solid. If there were a way to make its limbs look like snowman parts without it becoming totally ridiculous, I’d do that instead.

Wrangling the hindlegs makes me want to do both sets of limbs more flipperlike, although it wouldn’t have to push through the snow- it brings is the snow, so that probably doesn’t make as much sense as it ought to. It probably doesn’t need to be built to run; it’s relentless as the cold. It simply needs to outlast you.
