So I kept going down the line and found that while there’s no Dragon/Steel pokemon, there’s a Steel/Dragon. I’m not sure if that matters, but I already did my drawing and want to continue this evolution, so we’re going to say that it doesn’t.

Anyhoo, I set out to do something as different from Lapdragon as possible, so I did a quadruped. I probably would have made it more segmented/articulated, but in keeping with my recollections of the world of Pokemon, I needed to make it somewhat simple:
I like this one, I really do. I think it’s adorable, and want to do the rest of the progression. But at the same time, I feel like I kind of phoned it in because it’s so simple. I’m not sure what to do about that; maybe take a break and do a complex dragon to make myself feel better about stuff. I dunno.
