I switched to a more expensive brand of sketchbook because the pages took ballpoint ink better than the Art Alternatives books I was using for the last 4 years. However, tonight I found myself with a pen that would write on everything nut the pages of my sketchbook.
While trying to get the ink started on the page, I ended up with an elongated S-curve (you should be able to tell which one it is), and didn’t know what to do with it. I didn’t want to start a new page, so I improvised:
